As a seasonal local, I 'm surprised that the tourists don 't appreciate the high value and enjoyability of a quality, flavor filled dinner that far exceeds Frankenmuth . The service is top notch and there is always enough left over for the next day. I 'm reminded of Yogi Berra 's comment when asked if if still goes to a certain restaurant, and he replied, nobody goes there any more...the lines are too long '. Same with The Dam Site.....the lines are too long!

The family style chicken dinner is so delicious! This is our family favorite. Great service and vintage atmosphere. This is worth the wait, you won’t be disappointed!

Truly a classic. Great food. Great location for large groups. We had nine in our group and enjoyed our meal very much.
