Grand Plaza Mexican Grill - Bryan

We had the spinach chicken which had no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and very dry. The chimichaga dinner was small and hard to chew and no flavor. Everything needed to be heavily salted and peppered. I wouldn't recommend this one.

We (Cruz Banda, Liz Celestino Rodriguez, Patrick amd Teri Struble) are from Austin,Texas. We were visiting the Garza Family in Bryan, OH in September 2023. We were able to visit the Grand Plaza on our last night in Bryan. Wish we had gone there earlier. The service, food and drinks were Amazing. We hope to be back in Bryan 2024....and will definitely be going back to Grand Plaza Mexican Grill.

We have had many wonderful meals there but tonight there were 2 issues with my order, it was never made right, and when we asked for a manager he stated we should ask for him next time. We were talking to him when he stated it. How else should it have been handled? I did not get what I ordered and the waitress who is never very friendly was surly and bordered on hostile. While the food I did not order was fine it was not what I ordered or wanted and it will be a while before I am willing to try eating there again if they have no concern about fixing an order or making it right. If you do something wrong fix it. I never did get what I ordered.

I’ve ate here a few times because there aren’t many restaurant options. Typically service is fine and food is edible, but bland. I’d expect a Mexican restaurant to season their food.Last order was takeout and the meat look sad and boiled without a hint of char, and vegetables were lifeless without any color. Bland would be putting it nicely. Taco Bell uses more spices. AND to top it off, I found a hair in my food that when I pulled on it, a piece of meat came right with is as it was definitely cooked together and was not mine.Nope. Never again.

Just beautiful.Friendly staff, nice large seating capacity.The food is really good too... I mean, it is a Mexican grill, after all. Parking: The parking is right in the center of the city, so can be a bit tricky... but there are a LOT of parking spots arround to park.
