Sodolaks Beefmasters - Bryan

One of the great Steak houses in Texas. I've never had a bad experience at Sodolaks. It's hard to give other places a try when I pass through Bryan, I must have a ribeye!

This use to be my go to place but we went last night for my birthday and I 'm so disappointed in all of it, we will probably never go back! Use to love the chicken fried Bacon, it was what I looked forward to the most! I don 't know if they think people are stupid or that every cut of the pig taste the same but I was super disappointed when I bit into a chicken fried strip of HAM! If you wanna change bacon to ham at least be honest about it on the menu! Then I ordered a medium rare steak, I can understand temps being off and if it would have been medium, I get that! It came out medium well much closer to well done and was so dry I had 2 bites and brought the rest home for my dog, it was that bad! The waitress never once checked on us the whole time we were there. When I went to pay it was no how was your meal, did you enjoy it? Just a blunt 48.39 payed it, not a thank you, not have a good day! Probably the worst customer service I 've ever seen and absolutely a waste of 50 for what I thought was going to be a really good birthday dinner! What I use to think was the best steak place in town quickly fell to the worst in 1 night. We won 't be spending another in a place that preaches Christ all over the walls but has zero integrity!

Hands down one of the best chicken fried chicken in a long time.

First time I visited the restaurant, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. The restaurant was clean. Smothered grilled pork chops where spot on the chicken fried steak was perfect. Sweet tea was fresh.

This place was great! Excellent customer service. Short wait. Great food!
