There was no need this awesome place with their homemade lemonade based tea yum yum. Can’t wait to go back and try everything.Food: 5/5
I dined here last week, thinking I could get in and out quickly since it was late in the day, but I was mistaken. An A&M athletic team was dining there, and the place was quite busy. I placed my order and was informed that it would take some time, which I completely understood. After a little wait, my food finally arrived. I didn't say anything, but they went above and beyond by adding a little extra surprise in my bag to make up for the wait. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me. And I must say, the fish and wings were incredible, especially paired with the red beans and rice. This restaurant is fantastic! Sometimes there might be a wait, but the quality of the food and service is definitely worth it.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant from the food to the service—I would rate it an A+. I dined there two days in a row and will definitely return the next time I'm in town! A big shout out to my servers, Crystal and Tasha; you both did an amazing job! And to the cooks who prepared my meals, even though they were simple, you really delivered! If you're in College Station, whether you're visiting or you live there, Remnant of Nawlins is the place to go! The owner, Korey Thomas, truly excels at what he does. The quality and preparation of his dishes reflect the passion he puts into his work to ensure customers like me are satisfied, and I genuinely appreciate that.
There’s good food, and then there’s authentic food, and this restaurant is a rare gem that offers both. The seafood here might just be the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s not fancy, nor is it presented in a way meant to impress New Yorkers. Instead, it serves Southern soul food with a touch of New Orleans flair. I will definitely return on every visit. If they get an alcohol license and a TV, I’ll be there every Saturday for football and throughout the week for basketball and baseball. Truly outstanding!
Staff is friendly, and food is great! I had the boudin balls, meat pies, and a fried shrimp po boy, and all were delicious! Whatever seasoning is in the breading that the shrimps are fried in is seriously addictive!!
