We went for a quick bite on a Monday evening and had quite a bad experience. Service was extremely slow, the steak and kidney pie (which should be the highlight in an Irish pub) was average at most, the hamburger was tasteless and the red...and rose house wine was quite cheap. The pub was almost empty, but even so the one lady at the bar could not cope with the orders. We waited some 20 minutes before we got our drinks and then another 30 minutes for the food. The last Guinness beer ordered did not even come. Interestingly enough, they have some small wireless devices on the tables with which one can call the waiter, ask for the menu/ bill, etc. We kept pressing the buttons and could hear the bell ringing at the bar, but still waited for ages before the waiter came.
Best sports bar in Romania. Great staff, great beer and great Friends. Go to the dubliner
I was here in between train rides (the place is 10 minutes away from the Bucharest North Station on foot). I spent two or three hours on my own with the laptop in front of me at noon. No one disturbed me. It's a classic Irish Pub with dark interiors and good beer. They also have darts.
Pretty nice place to go out I would choose this place during winter. You are allowed to smoke inside. Good junk food if you wanna get fat and get rid out of your money. Noisy, people are getting drunk. Good music. Is very easy to reach the place, near Victoriei square.
