Feedback gevenThe food was cold and had no taste. The duck breast was cooked hours before it was cold and obviously cut hours before it was brought to us. The waiter seemed upset with every customer we didn't mention that we had reservations at our arrival, another group sitting on a different table than the ones he had on... Beverage selection very small, despite the menu. The restaurant was great 5 years ago, but now would not come back.
Good food (October, cucumber salad), excellent service, clean place, free parking, good harvested beer.
Visits the Minerva Hotel during the stay connected to the restaurant. I had to miss the vegetables that were beautiful, but the side mushrooms were absolutely terrible. My friend had the chicken skewers that were cold. Wouldn't recommend.
I associate this restaurant with my family outgoings, with the faculty graduation, with being in love and with having lunch with colleagues on my wedding day. than 30 years later I am back and relive with emotions the same feelings. I will be back
We stayed in a nearby hotel and needed dinner. Visited Nan Jing despite varied comments on Trip Advisor but some of them well enough to take a look. The restaurant is located in a hotel and offers for hotel guests... good as outsiders. We became our tables in the conservatory and given electronic menus, good start! The ambience was ok, the tables were well dressed and comfortable. The menus were, I thought, clear and comprehensive and we ordered starters and main courses. We were two guests. For starters we ordered spring rolls and ribs. For the main course we chose beef with oyster sauce with a side part rice crispy duck breast with one side of chow mine. After long waiting we received the spring rolls, some rice and the chow mine. After a further waiting period we then received the beef in oyster sauce. At that time the rice was cold and I was waiting for my rib start. Finally, the ribs arrived with the part of the crispy duck and separate sauce. The Chow men, though delicious, was cold. The spring rolls narrowed as if they were filled with baby food. The duck was not crispy and was dry and unusable. The beef with sauce was tasteless. The ribs were over boiled and Bland. When we asked if everything was fine, we answered, but we do not feel that we were heard and two free beers were offered as compensation. When we questioned the order and delay, we were told that they had to fill the buffet for hotel guests. The experience from the beginning to the end was unacceptable, and I would recommend that this be dismissed as a choice for everyone. Also note that the duck dishes are calculated by weight and not as shown in the menu and an automatic service fee is added to invoice, although this was mentioned in the menu.
