Trattoria Antico Dolo - Bucharest

Trattoria Antico Dolo is a beautiful small place on Decebal. You will normally not notice or think it as a place to go as it looks pretty like a covered conservatory. However, you will be surprised by good quality food and beautiful...atmosphere I usually go out pretty early 7-8pm and never have a problem finding a table, but if I leave at 9-10pm, the place is full, so call either in front of a reserve or come early.

With the best pizza in the opposite, and very good different Italian dishes, it is no wonder that antico dolo have been around for a long time. even if it is a bit expensive, it is a favorite for the local (of whom I am) the atmosphere inside. is pleasant, although the decor is a little sticky. the service is very good when you pass by the strange lack of smiles. this is the first place in bukarest, where I was served water next to my espresso, and I never had a filled order, even if I eat with 8 other people for a few hours. altogether, if they eat in the opposite and on the look for some Italian and a plant night out, I highly recommend antico dolo.

The place is beautiful, with 2 rooms in the ground floor for smoker and another for non-smoking increased. in my opinion, it doesn't make sense because the smoke appears in a room, but since it wasn't crowded, it was well ventilated. they are lying in the ground floor really have. cool modern benches with bright purple kisses, the whole restaurant is decorated with many (beautiful) paintings and since I was here in winter the decorations after christmas (very kitsch) were still on. the service was good, but not great, our waitress seemed a bit boring, but she brought the drinks fast and let us know in advance that the food order will take a while, we agreed these conditions and we waited 30 minutes for 2 salads and some grilled vegetables. they were delicious and the portions were great enough. her menu has a large selection of dresses that sound really good. the prices are medium high and my way to judge this is due to the price of the water they have: dorna, 500 ml, 8 ron.
