It is extremely busy as you would expect, but they seem to manage to find you a table relatively quickly even if you haven't booked. The menu here has all the traditional dishes you would expect, and of the dishes we had the favourites were Bulz, duck , lamb chops, and of course the papasi dessert is fantastic. We sat outside once, the second time for lunch we went inside to eat and have good look at the interior, and the third time we had made a reservation and we ended up down in the basement, which although still very nice , it seemed to lack the atmosphere of the upstairs area. The staff were very busy, but all were very professional and seemed to handle it very well and all dishes came in order and were all cooked to perfection Would definitely recommend.
Don't don't miss this place for food and the ambiance. Great food and staff. Sit inside....just history.
It's great to find a traditional restaurant that has a few vegan options. I had the polenta with mushrooms which was very delicious. My friend also had cabbage as an additional side dish.
I was there because it is considered one of those places to see worldwide. I wasn't expecting many vegan options and that was it. However, the atmosphere and the shows they offer during the meal are very nice. Reservation is highly recommended
Traditional Romenian restaurant that offers some vegan choices. We tried the vegan antipasti and mushrooms with polenta. They also have two vegan ice cream flavors- mango and chocolate.
