Everything was excellently prepared and Daniel even boned one of the fish for us....We had an excellent house red wine and a local beer. We sat outside and had a nice evening!
The waiter who served us very friendly and very well advised us well. Fresh and good fish, however, I recommend removing oil from chips before they serve them and also recommend waitresses to smile at the customers that the smile... costs nothing.
Typical tourist trap. Bad service, bad food, bad wine. Restaurant was empty, now i understand why. In the end they were so rude to almost demand for a tip. Never again.
I keep wondering for how long this place will stay true to their profile. If they keep offering spaghetti and beef stroganoff well, maybe next year I may not visit them. This restaurant is a fixture in Bucharest ' life. I had the best fish... ciorba in 1970 here. And every year this is a place I go for fish. This year I am a visitor from abroad I went twice first time I had carp roes great) and pui de balta frogs legs not too great), The second time, I decided for caviar: black sturgeon caviar) and golden salmon roes) Excellent. Tuica plum brandy) made a great addition to them. And then, saramura de **** WOW wonderful, juicy, tasty and a perfect marriage to the polenta mamaliga) and Feteasca white wine. The service is excellent. Tuica is cold , the bread is toasted. I love their non intrusive style, not asking you every minute how you feel. I love to have a table inside outside is too noisy.
Located above the street with a direct view of the Intercontinental Hotel, this place will introduce you to the atmosphere of 90'ies great food, good service, fast serving!
