This is the place if you are looking for truelly good coffee with truelly great crowd. A small and super friendly place, where cultures, languages and ides coexist, in a down to earth atmosphere. Ryan, the owner and the barista is from the Philippines, and he knows his craft effortlesly.

Authentic place, the owner sells his family's own coffee (from the Philippnes). His stories are priceless. Must try!

I regularly travel all over the world and, without a doubt, Barako is my favorite place to drink coffee in the world. The beans are of the highest quality coming from the family farm in the Philippines. The owner, Ryan is an absolute geek and mad scientist when it comes to brewing this magic drink. The vibe is so cool. I could easily hang there for hours.

It has all what I was looking for, especially on a Friday-pre-Easter-empty city. Good coffee, and even more important than that a lay back-easy going-relaxed multicultural atmosphere and a SUPER friendly staff. Can only wish for a branch in my area. The only place in Budapest with the personalized touch. Really. You can only try and experience it for yourself to believe what I say.
