Toekmag Vegan Street Food - Budapest

From my hotel went through the whole facility for the mass of the Pope. Man, the walk was worth it. Came on this perfectly presented vegan business. You have a terrace with a lot of seating, but the beautiful lady on the ground floor counter told me that I better go down to breakfast. She was right. I went down and there was Daniel standing at the cellar server diligently at tables (he was there). He suggested that I try the tofu frame with mushrooms. I chose a lapsang soong tea with oat milk while I waited and it was served with a separate timer to tell you when it is ready to have fantastic attention to detail. Breakfast should die with delicious flavors and balance. The whole experience was full of fantastic and the place was full of happy vegans. I stopped to get coffee and cake for breakfast. Raspberry mousse cake was simply amazing — aromas, texture — 10/10. Apple cinnamon cake was also good. Okay, coffee. I wish I had more time to eat here, too. Updated by previous rating on 2023-04-10

Had a good selection of food, and the sandwich we ate was fine nothing special. Predominantly burgers, sandwiches, cakes, and juices. Lots of seating options downstairs or outside. Staff were not friendly, and it seemed I annoyed one of the staff members by asking for a glass or cup for my drink. Would not bother to return unless desperate. £14/€16 for 2 average sandwiches and a bottle of drink. Felt overpriced for what it is, but I guess it’s quite average.

The place is temporarily closed when I came in, even though it shows it is open on HC.

Delicious vegan burger with french fries! I also appreciate the take out option. I had only one day in Budapest, but would love to come back!
