This restaurant is excellent. I had a beautifully cooked piece of Sole during dinner. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person is around £50–60. I highly recommend trying the Scotch Egg and the Cornish Sole.

We went to this restaurant as a group of 4 to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. The starters were nice but small for the price. I ordered Haddock, which was okay, but the chips were greasy and tasted like they had been refried. My husband and brother-in-law both ordered cod, but my brother-in-law had an issue with his dish. He said the fish had not been cleaned properly and it made him feel sick, so we stopped eating our meals. The staff never asked if everything was alright, and when we pointed out the problems, they did not seem concerned. Overall, we were not impressed with the cost or the quality of the food, despite the good online reviews. My brother-in-law, who lives in Bude, booked the meal but it did not meet our expectations. We had 6 drinks, 4 starters, 4 main courses, and even had to pay extra for a side of potatoes, bringing the total cost to £147.50. It was very expensive for what we received.

Starters were amazing but I’ve found the mains not as special. The ingredients were quite plain and the presentation of my prawn linguine was not amazing. The restaurant otherwise was well decorated and spacious. The staff were very friendly! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
