Bengal Deli - Buenos Aires

The waiters took ages and aren’t very fond of working, a lot of chatting going on between them. Really frustrating. The food was nothing very special, curry, prawns, and a sauce. Kind of expensive taking into account these items. When we asked for the bill,...it took minutes and then we found out that it had been written by hand and they didn’t take cc’s (in Argentina by law every place has to accept cc, the waiter tried to fool us saying the posnet had been working up until a while ago). We didn’t take cash so they had to get it “working” again. This inconvenient took extra min. Not going back.

This restaurant serves lunch and dinner and is attached to the casasur Bellini hotel. Nicely furnished and freindly staff. We had a pasta (tiny bit undercooked) and a curry (could have been a bit more spicy). The service was ok, friendly but not very pro-active....No effort was made to see if we had all weneeded, eg not asked if we wanted and more drinks, desert etc. There are better places in the area, Iwould walk assed thisone eny next time I'm in the area.

Had some soup the day i arrived as it was late and i was tired. nothing remarkable about it. it was warm and tasty. service was less than memorable. location right next the hotel i am staying at. probably lower review just because i was...tired and exhuasted.

Good enough for a simple breakfast or a pasta or sallad for lunch. But thats about it. Narrow selection.

Sumptuous buffet for breakfast (was included in our CasaSur Bellini room rate). Fresh food, wonderful cappuccino. I'd give it five but it would get hectic at times.
