San Telmo district is a little tourist destination. Most eat around the Plaza a few meters from this bar. They will have indifferent food and pay for it, but they can be able to see some tango dancing. Caracol is different from the locals coming here for a drink and a bite to eat and not too much about what's going on outside. Our first night we were dragged around the local streets looking for somewhere to eat. Finally we went to this small local corner restaurant bar only 30 meters from where we were. I had a spinach pizza (pizza verde) and ordered the big version without a doubt. It was too much and I could only eat half of it. Our waiter was a good humble guy who laughed at it. The next night we went back to the corner restaurant. This time I ate humbler. The waiter was still in good humor. decent beer: try Quilmes Cristal
Friendly waiter and very nice place for dinner. Appropriately expensive. We had chickens with potatoes, and the Mini-Raffen-Steak, both were delicious. It's a place where plush cakes go for their food, so it couldn't be wrong. Very recommended!!
If you want to spend time among locals, this is the café to go. Prices are very reasonable and the sandwiches are huge (1 is sufficient for 2 people). The waiter is very friendly and helpful.
We were strolling Bolivar looking for a place to eat and entered this small hometown restaurant. The food was not that good, but the staff was wonderful, so the dinner was really nice.
