There were five of us at our table, so we order 2 salmons (they came with fries), a side of creamed spinach, and a small salad. The salmon was fresh and was cooked just the perfect amount. The fries were out of this world and definitely the best I ever had. The dish was a bit pricey but was worth it. The salad was fresh and had a real taste unlike salad in the United States. Lastly, the cream spinach was also very good. It was creamy, cheesy, and gooey just how I like that dish to be. There is a photographer who comes around to take pictures (you obviously have to pay) but our waiter, knowing her could get in trouble took our picture with my friend's camera. This was a bold thing for him to do which I appreciated. The service charge was quite high..I will be back if I find myself in BA just to taste the best fries in the world.
An Argentinian friend recommended this restaurant to my family and I. The bife de chorizo was delicious and the souffle potatoes as well, but the service was average and it's pricey for being what it is. All in all a pretty good choice, but definitely left some to be desired. For anyone who's interested in going they have great wine pairings and of course a Quilmes and chorizo steak is always a win!
We went in there just because our friend told us it was great (but he forgot to mention last time he went to Palace was 15 years ago..). Anyway, food was terrible. My mom ordered "Sopa de crema", nothing creamy was about it, some veggies were swimming in the oversalted water.. And as a bonus giant fly sat on her arm.. My husband ordered milanese and stuffed potatoes. We asked for some sort of sauce for it and what he did is brought potatoes with stuffing on the side for some reason... Thank got i didn't ordered anything.. Than our waiter switched, we asked the new guy for a check. When he brought it he made sure to remind us that the tip is not included... It just doesn't worth it to go in there..
