Let's face it: Argentina does the steak very well, but local menus do not offer much spicy food. I started with the pork appetizer and was very surprised that I came with a small spoonful of tasty and slightly spicy sauce. Passing the pad thai with chicken, however, I was disappointed a bit because there was no flavor at all. No spicy, actually, I didn't even know salty. Still, I kept going until I found a hair in my food. The waitress apologized a lot and this is where I felt that the restaurant did everything well ... they removed my dish to take and they made it spicy to start. I feel that the restaurant should make it clear that they offer different levels of spices (I saw nothing in the menu in that sense), so if you fancy a proper Thai, you will not be disappointed.
First of all, I love Thai food. In one of my many trips to Thai, I even spent a day in a cooking class. I came home and planted lemongrass so I could have it fresh to cook, so after spending 7 days in good air, I was looking for something different from the standard beef. We had a group of 7 and a rooftop table, a very nice place to eat in a warm spring night. the service was good and without haste. the food was good, but really Argentine style. the tom yum kung was not traditional. more chicken broth and not much lemon grass. and not spicy. the other dishes like pad wood sen were normal. I didn't know bad, just not real Thai flavors. In general, he would return but without the expectations of Thai, only a good rest of the calfs. we also tried osaka (Japanese) but that's another story (and review).
My wife and I loved our dinner here. the hostess and the waiters were very kind and were of great help to make recommendations. This place is vegan and vegetarian. We had spring rolls, which came with three excellent sauces, a curry dish and a rice dish with vegetables. the selection of wines is also satisfactory. If you get Thai food, try this place.
The place is cute and the service is pretty good, the Colombians who care for us were kind. the food was not what we expected, but we can't complain anyway. We order an entry, two main dishes and two drinks and we spend $900.
