La Choza - Buenos Aires

We led his restaurant past our nightly stools and every time it was full, all night, both indoors and outdoors. We decided to go and had a wonderful meal. The steaks are like all the other entrees. Service was very attentive and the ambience was beautiful. We had a wonderful meal with our friends

Couldn't fail the service, the classic Argentine steak, the perfect chips and the handmade rocket salad. The free Limoncello just took it off. Of course a favorite with the locals of all generations. Very recommended

We ordered a parrillada (grill) for 2 and an extra steak for my wife's cousin. The sausage was the best I had in a long time, tasteful, not salty, just melts in your mouth; the blood pudding and other special meats were good. The meat and chicken well cooked for perfection, and great tests. The French fries were fresh and hand cut, delicious. For the desert we shared a flan (Crème Caramel) with dulce de leche, it had a perfect texture, and a taste that brought me back to childhood; my wife and I drove each other. It was a bit expensive, but not too bad. Service was the only farewell, it was just okay.

Good quality food, good quality service, cheap and perfect Argentinian atmosphere. It was a few times and every time it was wonderful.

We didn’t book and tried to roll into Don Julio, obviously didn’t. We found La Choza and as it was early we managed to get an unreserved table. The steaks were excellent as was the wine. Looking at the 2 menus I wonder if DJ is a lot of hype, we certainly ate for better value at La Choza.
