While visiting BA taken here by a local friend as we wanted to try a true local restaurant with local cuisine at affordable prices. We were not disappointed. The place is small and family run so it's your basic unpretentious home cooking joint. We had a pork belly dish smothered in tomatoes and onions (I don't remember the dish name but was told is it a local favorite) that was very good. The portion was very large so we split amongst two at our table. The daily special was a slow cooked beef dish with vegetables that my friend raved about. If visiting BA and in the area this is an excellent local restaurant that serves up good home cooking all at very reasonable prices. 4 meals with a salad to share, one appetizer and a couple drinks came to a very reasonable 750 pesos. Will visit again if in the area.
The place is not shocking and maybe it could be better, but the food is good. Sizes are large, prices are in good shape. Has a nice selection of options, from pizza, empanadas to more detailed foods. If you're hungry and in the area, give it a try.
We stopped for the daily special and it was delicious! Fishmilanese cannot remember the name, but a bunch of slightly baked fish fillets and made home Papa fritas! We should have shared an order. Extremely reasonable and delicious when you are in the neighborhood!
