Perez-H - Buenos Aires

Very busy place, but unfortunately the food quality is not good and the service is bad. There are many burger shops around Palermo that I prefer to try to get back.

Despite the long queue at the entrance, in a few minutes we had our Hamburger beer! Cheap and delicious! Very recommended!

We saw a long line to lunch, which is usually a good sign, so we went back an evening for dinner. The interior is very simple with long tables and high stools to sit on or you can sit outside. The burgers were good, although the bungalow is really too thick, so I took the upper half. The frits with the cheese sauce upstairs were good, but I think would have been better without any extra stuff. No ketchup was available. This meal was okay, but I think the Burger Joynt in Palermo Soho has better burgers and pommes.

Well, as there are so many Burger options in the city of Perez h is medium best. The Burger texture is terrible, pieces of Gristle mixed with hard pieces of hit and whole peppercorns. The third time I had the same experience. The new bungalows are a beautiful texture, but have an overwhelming season. There are many places to eat a good burger in the city, that is not one of them, although the Pommes are really good.

Walked by Perez H a couple of times and saw a few delivery guys with motorcycle helmets lining up to pick up burgers. That’s usually a good sign. Also, a line at midnight is a good sign too. So I wanted to check out this burger they say is the best burger and the best meat in Argentina. I ordered the cheese (queso) clásico and added grilled onions for like 30 cents and fries and a beer and the total was $8.80 for the beer, fries and burger. Ridiculously cheap so that’s good. The meat quality is good and it’s ample amount. No need to get a double. The cheese was lacking and the seasoning on the bun which was soft and topped with seeds (poppy and sunflower) was heavy. The sauces which other reviewers raved about are good but not mind blowing and the fries were solid but not spectacular. In summary, a good informal late night burger but not the best in any country by any stretch and the beer I had was pretty good I have to admit. Also, the people watching and late night vibe was good too.
