I had Chicken Tikka Masala and my sister had Eggplant Cherry tomato. We loved the food. Sveekanth took great care of us. It was a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful decorating. I will be back!
We have been there many times. It's our favorite place for Indian food. We've never had a bad meal and we've ordered different things. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is quiet and colorful, thanks to the beautiful umbrellas that hang from the ceiling. We always come away very full and the portions are a good sized so that we always take food home. We'd recommend this place to others and we have.
The chicken dum biriyani was better than all other places I have tried in and around chicago. Gobi pakora and lasuni chicken were both good aswell. The garlic naan was too thick though. In the flambe gulab jamun, caramel was burnt ,so were the bananas but the gulab jamun were good. Would recommend ordering them separately.I did not personally try the lamb roganjosh but my mom said it was close to what we cook at home.
We went to have dinner on a weekday. Been there few times before that. Food is delicious. It's a small place but they have renovated it. It's good for anyone who wants to try Indian food for the first time. They also have a mini bar. As a food enthusiast, I give 3.75/5 for the taste, ambience and service.
Had the lunch special, $15 butter chicken. Soup, entree (with Naan), and dessert. Some of the best Indian I have ever had.
