My sister and I went there for lunch, and the lunch special included soup, rice, naan, dessert, and your choice of main dish. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, while my sister chose the Eggplant with Cherry Tomatoes. We both loved the food. Sveekanth was an excellent server and took great care of us. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the decor was beautiful. I will definitely be back!
We have visited this restaurant numerous times, and it remains our favorite spot for Indian cuisine. We’ve never had a disappointing meal, trying a variety of dishes each time. The service is outstanding, and the ambiance is both tranquil and vibrant, thanks to the lovely umbrellas that adorn the ceiling. We always leave feeling satisfied, as the portions are generous enough for us to take leftovers home. We highly recommend this restaurant to others, and we have done so many times.
The chicken dum biryani was the best I've had compared to all the other places I've tried in and around Chicago. The gobi pakora and lasuni chicken were both quite good as well. However, the garlic naan was a bit too thick for my liking. The flambe gulab jamun was a mixed bag; the caramel and bananas were burnt, but the gulab jamun itself was tasty. I would recommend ordering them separately. I didn't try the lamb rogan josh myself, but my mom said it was similar to what we make at home.
We went to have dinner on a weekday. Been there few times before that. Food is delicious. It's a small place but they have renovated it. It's good for anyone who wants to try Indian food for the first time. They also have a mini bar. As a food enthusiast, I give 3.75/5 for the taste, ambience and service.
Best Indian food I had since a long time! Great service great authentic place. Is a must!
