Casa Azul - Buffalo

Great cocktails, great menu, not too many items so you know the ones they offer should be outstanding and they were.

What an amazing night out with friends!!! Particularly of note was the chocolate mousse which might be one of the best desserts I have ever had in Buffalo. Their nonalcoholic frescas were SUPER tasty and perfect for my way too pregnant friend- the peach basil was a win. The shrimp taco and guacamole were also incredible and I wish they would serve the brussel sprouts as an appetizer because they were good on a taco but I think they would have been incredible on their own! (Sorry you won't get a picture of the mousse because I ate it with great vigor and attention, but the churros were also a top notch end to our meal!)Vegetarian options: There were three different veggie tacos which was a big win for our vegetarian friend!

Solid all around. Recommended tacos of al pastor, fish, and brussel sprouts were all great.The guacamole is not traditional in that there are pepitas. More like an avocado salsa.Churros were delicious, but a little on the oily side.Paloma cocktail was made with grapefruit soda, so only a very subtle grapefruit flavor.

Casa Azul is a Mexican restaurant in Buffalo, NY. The drinks and the food are above expectations. They had vegan, gluten-free options on almost all their menu items. The only downside is the wait time, as the place is popular. We had a variety of flavoured Margaritas which were highly potent. We also ordered Guacamole with corn chips which were so delicious that we ordered another. After that, it was a round of tacos and enchiladas. All worth it. We finished every bit of food even though we were full. Great place for a meal with friends and family.
