Fresh Healthy Cafe - Buffalo

The service at this restaurant was extremely poor. Each time the cashier took an order, she would wander around for five minutes before taking the next one. After waiting in line for almost 30 minutes, I gave up, as did others in line. The person working the panini machine left, leaving no one to take orders until the cashier took over. The only hardworking individual was the person making the smoothies. I had been looking forward to enjoying a healthy meal from the food court, but was disappointed by the inefficiency of the staff.

Now, onto the smoothie. In my previous visits, the smoothie had been excellent, but this time it was disappointing. It was chunky, not as green as usual, had unfamiliar ingredients, the flavor was off, and the cup size seemed incorrect for what I ordered. The price of the smoothie did not match the quality, which added to my disappointment. As for the avocado toast, it was tasty but nothing remarkable. I would consider ordering it again, though.

My food and customer service was amazing. There was only person working (they had blonde hair, with the shaved cut style). They were absolutely amazing and their energy was great. However, to make that poor employee work all by themselves on a Friday lunch when the mall is packed is ridiculous. I get the staffing issue in food service because I work in food too, but I would absolutely never let my establishment have only one person working. It’s not fair to them at all.

I want to start by saying that the food was delicious and the service I received was excellent. I would give it 4 stars for that. However, the reason I am giving it 1 star is because there was only one woman working during my visit. She mentioned that this is a common occurrence. Having only one employee working, especially in a busy mall food court, and making her work a double shift without a break is unacceptable. Because of this, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owner should be ashamed of how their employees are being treated.

I wish I could give this a negative star rating. This place is an absolute horrible joke. They're not open when they supposed to be, employees are always on their phone 45 minutes for a single juice drink which is an absolute joke. The service is terrible for the quality is terrible I would avoid this place at all cost.
