The party took place in the terrace room, where we had excellent service from a waitress whose name I unfortunately cannot recall. The food was outstanding, with everyone raving about its deliciousness. We opted for a family-style sit-down dinner and were very pleased with our choices. The Italian wedding soup and salad were a great start, followed by tender and tasty chicken milanese and delicious beef tips with spinach. The pasta with pomodoro sauce was also a standout. I highly recommend Rizotto's for either a casual dinner or hosting a special event.
Rizotto's is nice but not upscale. Service is friendly and casual. The crowd was mostly families or couples over age 60. Menu is one page but has a lot of variety Italian small plates, chicken, pasta, seafood, steak, pizza, etc. I ordered a bowl of the broccoli cheddar soup to start which was delicious and incredibly cheesy! For my meal I had the Italian fish fry, broiled with risotto and it was fantastic as well. We also shared a bottle of Italian red wine. Their wine menu is mostly Italian or California wines.
We hosted a surprise retirement brunch for my mother at this restaurant, and we were extremely impressed. There were several different packages to choose from and we found the prices to be reasonable. The room had a lovely parlor/library feel with a fireplace that was lit for us. Even with our party of 40, we found the space to be very spacious. The food was exceptional. Buffet food can be hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit. Everything tasted fresh, including the crispy waffles which can be difficult to achieve for a large group. The food was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly, even the bacon which can be tricky. The mimosa punch was also delicious, and they had a full bar available for other beverage options. The staff were friendly and accommodating, with the event manager being easy to work with and the day-of staff being extremely helpful. We were able to bring our own decorations, with the only restriction being no glitter. They did not rush us out, allowing guests to mingle and children to hang out comfortably. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we look forward to trying out the regular restaurant in the future.
A great experience tonight. Beautiful building. Friendly employees. Where can you go in the Williamsville area and get a cocktail for $8.50? I enjoyed my salad with bleu cheese crumbles and fresh mozzarella. My entree was the chicken Francaise, it was good. There Wednesday night Chicken parm for $10.99 is a deal. we will be back again.
Tonight was our first time at Rizzoto's, and we took Oliver's recommendation and ordered the lasagna. It truly melted in our mouths. There was a perfect combination of meat, sauce, cheese and pasta. The dish was light while still filling. We will definitely be returning for more lasagna and also to see Oliver who's great personality and recommendations were highlights of our night.
