As a native Texan, I am inherently a huge barbecue fan and I was excited to try this interesting concept that fuses Indian and BBQ cuisines. Though I haven?t tried their lunch and dinner offerings their breakfast is fire. I have now tried the brisket and barbacurry breakfast tacos $5 each) and the sausage kolache a classic Texas breakfast a item). Everything was delicious and I can't to try their biriyani bbq bowls soon!
I do BBQ. I?ve been cooking whole pig for forty years. I?m not half bad at it. These people make me look like a piker. Ryan?s command of flavor and the skill that?s implemented by him and his team, make for a truly unique BBQ experience that is unparalleled. The fusion of southern Indian flavor and Texas Q works in a way that few things do. There is no other BBQ in the region that compares. Mine included.
This is one of the best places to eat in Buffalo and the best bbq in buffalo hands down. The brisket is insane. The sides are delicious. Everything is great. Highly recommend everything.
Consistent perfection Weird flex but these were the best beans I?ve ever had. The biscuits are phenomenal too, get a brisket biscuit sandwich or the biscuits and gravy. Excited to try the chicken!
My friend Bruce, highly recommended that I stop by, what he considers one of the best BBQ joints north of the Mississippi, Southern Junction, located on Chandler St. I met the owner Ryan, and he explained that he gave the staff off for the holiday weekend and he only sells cold orders on Saturday. Before I turned into a sad face, Ryan tells me, I don't want you to leave empty handed, and puts together a lil'sumthing, sumthung, a few tender/ juicy briquette slices for me, to take. OMG ???? this is so good!!
