Armory - Buffalo

Classic pasta dishes that are simple yet incredibly satisfying. The bar has a relaxed, old-school vibe and is filled with a sense of history. The cuisine is authentic peasant Italian, reminiscent of what your grandmother used to cook. Prices are very reasonable, but it's cash-only, so make sure to bring some along!

A real throwback to my childhood. Small neighborhood bar, limited selection of both food and drink, very clean. Cash only. Friendly. Good spaghetti.

What a gem. Here since the 1940s, Armory is an institution. I drink here, haven't had the food yet. Love it here.

The ambiance is quite straightforward: upon entering, you are greeted by several tables adorned with red and white checkered tablecloths and a well-stocked, older bar. Above the bar hangs a reasonably sized flat screen TV for viewing. From this vantage point, you can catch a glimpse of a small, unpretentious kitchen where all the food is made from scratch.

A hidden gem! This place serves classic Italian comfort food with a straightforward approach. The service is excellent, and you really can't beat the prices.
