Asian Chao - Buford

Pretty bland food, rice didn?t really taste like anything. I wouldn?t recommend

Been coming here for years and the food is always delicious. It's hot and ready. Tho the prices have absolutely sky rocketed all of a sudden, and I've been given less portions recently. But other than that the food is really good and the lines go thruquickly, even if there is a very long line.

The food is delicious, and the rice is outstanding. The chicken and veggie rolls are also very good. This restaurant is situated in the food court of the Mall of Georgia.

It seems that like many places, the prices have increased lately, going up to $9, $10.59, and $13 as of October 2022. They advertise that you can choose either noodles or rice along with one meat and one side. However, the noodles or rice actually count as a side dish, which is misleading. So, if you order a plate with meat and noodles, it will cost you around $9 to $10, and if you add vegetables, it's a bit more. If you're dining with family, you might want to consider the fancier chicken place next door instead.

Teriyaki Grill and Asian Chao are run by the same owners. At Teriyaki Grill, you can watch as they fry your rice and chicken right in front of you. In contrast, Asian Chao serves pre-made dishes that are kept warm in heated bins. Teriyaki Grill stands out as the best option in this food court, second only to Chick-Fil-A. If you're looking for a tasty meal that isn't from CFA, I highly recommend this place! I've been a loyal customer for years, and I always go for the teriyaki chicken with double fried rice. I've never been disappointed with the flavor or the generous portion sizes! The prices are also very reasonable, at around $8.99 for chicken, rice, and vegetables. There's a small extra charge if you want to swap out the veggies for double rice, but it's definitely worth it!
