Tacos Tacos - Buford

I arrived 45 minutes before closing, but the staff on hand didn’t speak English. No problem, as I speak Spanish and placed my order: two tacos for myself and a burrito for my wife. However, the staff seemed reluctant to process my order and waited for another employee to return from the bathroom. When she came back, I repeated my order in Spanish. To my surprise, she looked at her colleague as if she couldn’t believe I had actually placed an order. She then made assumptions based on my skin color, switched to English, and questioned whether I really wanted food from a restaurant. I confirmed that I did indeed want food. With an exaggerated sigh, she signaled to the other employees to start preparing my order. They all appeared quite miserable, wearing expressions of sorrow. The young man began heating up some side fillings, another woman prepared additional fillings, and the dishwasher stood by looking disheartened. The manager who took my order finished packing everything and processed my payment without giving me the chance to leave a tip. Based on their body language, I would have happily left a significant tip; these employees could use some encouragement! I’m unsure if I would return given the customer service, but the food was excellent!

I honestly don't know how to describe it other than to say it might be the best Mexican restaurant I've ever visited. Their street tacos are simply outstanding!

I have dined here several times, and each experience has been excellent. The staff is incredibly helpful when it comes to choosing menu items. The food is freshly prepared and of outstanding quality. We've always enjoyed everything we've ordered! I will definitely be returning!

I wouldn't recommend ordering from this restaurant. I placed an order for 2 birria tacos, a cow tongue taco, a shrimp taco, and some chips with guacamole at 8:10 PM. When I arrived to pick up my order, I assumed everything was in the bag. To my disappointment, it wasn't. I was missing the sauce for the tacos, and the meat in all of them was quite dry. By this time, it was after 9 PM and they had already closed. I called the next day, and the manager assured me that the owner would replace my order. However, they called me back shortly after to say that the owner had "changed his mind" and, despite knowing I picked up toward closing time, I needed to "call immediately" to resolve the issue.

Our family absolutely adores this restaurant! The authentic food is simply fantastic, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. The portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the food is top-notch. The owner was incredibly kind and even changed the music for my 1-year-old. I highly recommend this place!
