Joesphine's Restaurant - Bunbury

We were looking forward to having some meatballs and spaghetti for lunch but was told they only had one dish left. There were two of us and so one of us was going to be in luck. However, a minute later we were told, no there were no meatballs left, not even enough for one dish. That was disappointing. So I ordered the vegetarian penne pasta with eggplant and mushroom. There were a couple of pieces of chewy eggplant in my dish and maybe one slice of mushroom. Mostly the dish was pasta and a flavoursome tomato based sauce. Sometimes sauces can be too tart or bitter, however this sauce was perfect!! Bellissimo!! No doubt the penne pasta was packaged not fresh, however, it was a delicious dish. It was generously garnished with tasty, grated parmesan.The garlic bread was perfect. Yum.We were seated directly under electric bar ceiling heaters. It was way too hot and very uncomfortable. The heat was direct and harsh.This is a family run business therefore staff are invested in customer service.

The last 5 times we have had visited here we have had 3 good meals and 2 absolute shockers. We now reckon the secret to a good meal is if the owner is their it's safe to eat if not go elsewhere

Josephine's Bunbury never misses a beat . The quality is always superb and the staff friendly and courteous. Portions are ample and you shouldn't leave hungry . Great range of drinks both on tap and in bottles .

Just had dinner at Josephine's and have to say .... food was fantastic, service was fast and friendly, and we will visit again soon!
