Allingham Arms - Bundoran

I stopped by Quay West for a pub lunch and had a fantastic meal with incredibly friendly staff.

We spent one night at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I especially liked having a USB port by the bed. We also had two meals at the hotel, which were both delicious and convenient, especially when it was raining. Despite feeling a bit spooked in the hallway, we never encountered any children on big wheels. The view of the ocean in front of the hotel was stunning. It looks like a great spot for surfing in a dry suit.

We had a fabulous stay in The Allingham Arms hotel the staff are fantastic and very helpful. We were part of a country weekend been held in the hotel and the staff went over and beyond for us . Our room wasn’t one of the newly decorated rooms unfortunately but comfortable ,very and spacious , it could of done with sockets on both sides of the bed as I like to have my phone beside me while charging instead of the other side of the room my partner had a sockets on his side. We did get to see my in laws room on level 3 it was amazing ocean view, newly decorated and plenty of storage with a safe and sockets in both sides of the bed. Food was very good included in our weekend stay was breakfast and evening dinner , service very fast and attentive breakfast personal preference would of loved hash browns, mushrooms or potato bread but food was very tasty and well stocked up breakfast restaurant staff very mannerly and helpful . We had lunch in the Quay west bar on 2 occasions both times were generous tasty portions not to mention the delicious cocktails firm favourite Clover club staff very efficient. Reception staff also very friendly and kind fast check in/out. Short distance up the town to local shops, waterworks and amusements if leaving the hotel for a walk around Rougey you can get a good 3 mile walk out of it. Can’t wait to come back next year hopefully get our hands on an ocean view room as that view is AMAZING.

Late Lunch food was nice not mind-blowing......Seafood chowder was excellent and the onion rings were OUTSTANDING!! Very friendly young staff

Our deluxe room had a direct sea view. The promised peace and quiet was not there because the hotel is located directly on a thoroughfare. Very well equipped room. There are many free parking spaces. WiFi registration cumbersome. Many events in the house. It was too restless for us there. We wouldn't stay there again.
