The Smoke House Restarant - Burbank

Just one of the most beautiful places in la to eat. a legendary old school restaurant that you have to experience. great staff and they feel like don draper the next table. if they miss the garlic cheese bread, they lack one of the true joys of life.

It was my birthday and it was very special. the slogan for this great old restaurant since 1946 is “fine eating at a fair price”. recommend this restaurant

Love this place and you all….just a bit too loud but that’s what you get when you sit in the restaurants bar area.

Been here meny times and its always great. Tried the Ceaser salad this time and it was horrible. Ribs are fantastic. Porter House steak is very good. Great atmosphere. We sat one of the fireplaces on a rainy night. Super relaxing

My wife, kids and I go here pretty often. My reservation history says 6 times in 2022. I understand they were probably having an off night but it was just one terrible thing after another. First my Old Fashioned was clearly made with scotch and my wife’s martini glass had lipstick stain on it. When they brought out a new martini it suddenly had a maraschino cherry in it and didn’t originally. Seemed like the bartender was not sure what he’s making. This wasn’t such a big deal though. I just drank my drink and my wife had her glass changed. We ordered and the garlic cheese bread came out quickly and was good as usual. But our meals came out about 40 mins later. My steak I ordered was a medium and it was cooked to well done. I usually finish my meal but I didn’t this time. It just didn’t taste right either. Then my wife ordered medium rare. But hers was clearly close to rare and she ended up sending hers back and not eating at all. They did refund her meal but that’s the least they could do since she didn’t eat it. The kids had the bbq ribs which was luke warm when it came out. At least the kids don’t really care and ate it. It just seemed like an off night and you would think more would have been done for all the negative things happening. Sadly it’ll probably be some time before we go back again.
