Indian Chatkhara - Burgoon

Really dirty place. Greasy floors and broken high chairs. Food wasn’t anything special.

This place is Very unclean and miss managed. Those who uploaded the comments'Very tasty food' may not have tasted real food. I have tried their Biryani 8.99$ and chicken tandoori 3.99$. Tandoori was colored and tasteless, missing salt and though chicken was well marinated it tasted stale and was over cooked. Biryani is a great combination of verious masalas with marinated chicken and onions. But their biryani failed to delived the taste, freshness. Would suggest owner/chief, keeping low prices never pull customer. Only good taste and service can attract the customer. At least change the lights and let customer know what they are eating.

This is just another opening for Shalimar Restaurant in Walnut Plaza. I guess the original Indian Chatkhara has closed down and the premises have been taken over by Shalimar Restaurant. Read my original review on Shalimar Restaurant for the 1* review.

5 for taste but settling for 4 due to cleanliness, improved over the time

Authentic Indian restaurant. Good food with reasonable prices
