Thai-u-up - Burien

The food at this restaurant is overpriced for the quality. The crispy garlic chicken I ordered was disappointing as it was neither crispy nor garlicky, and was overcooked and dry. The golden noodles with beef came in a big clump and the beef was tough and chewy, with one piece looking burned. However, I did enjoy the crispy yet slightly cooked vegetables. The peanut sauce for the noodles was more like peanut butter - sweet, creamy, and peanuty. Portions were small and the white rice was average. The spice level was as I had requested. The staff were friendly.

After landing from my flight on the East Coast, I was in search of the closest Thai restaurant. I was relieved when I found Thai-U-Up. The family running the restaurant was extremely friendly and provided excellent service. The food was on par with what you would find in Northern Jersey/NYC and they were able to make it spicy just as I requested. Both my companion and I were very pleased with our meals. I highly recommend Thai-U-Up if you are in the area and in the mood for some delicious Thai cuisine.

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants, but this place serves some of the best Thai food I have ever had. The Golden Noodle dish, Panang Curry, and Fresh Spring rolls were all delicious. The peanut sauce was especially amazing. Don't hesitate to dine here, you won't be disappointed!

I?ve ordered here many times and the food has always been worth the price. Today, I ordered my usual (minus one entree), and it was nearly the same price? and the crispy garlic chicken wasn?t at all like I?ve gotten before. Maybe it was a mistake? I?m not sure what happened, but it is a $15 entree and it was not the usual chicken, nor was it the portion I?ve gotten in the past. I will not be returning

The Phad See Iew or however you spell it) was good. A little expensive if you ask me. The yellow curry was disappointing. It was runny, bland, and we barely got enough for two people and no leftovers. I?ve had better yellow curry in Mill Creek among other places) with double the portion and for cheaper. I probably won?t order from here again. Sorry :
