Dough Boy Donuts - Burleson

I was babysitting my nephew, who loves donuts, so we decided to stop by for breakfast. The donuts were incredibly delicious! I particularly enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, which was bursting with flavor—a definite must-try! I also ordered a latte, and it far exceeded my expectations; it was fantastic! They offer freshly squeezed orange juice as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this place!

The shop has a charming ambiance, and I'll give them credit for that. However, it feels like their main focus is on being cute and trendy rather than providing quality food. The kolaches were average, but they were inconsistently heated; some parts were warm while others were cold. The donut holes were quite dense and gritty, and they didn’t taste fresh. Additionally, the coffee house blend and espresso had a strong acidity that wasn’t very pleasant. I also want to point out that the "plain boss hog" still has cheese in it, which is an issue for those of us who are lactose intolerant. Overall, it’s a great spot for influencers, but not the best choice for food lovers!

I really love the menu selections; there are so many delicious choices! The freshly squeezed orange juice is fantastic! I definitely recommend this place. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my breakfast sandwich had an unusual aftertaste.

Fantastic donuts made to order! We tried the plain dozen (half regular, half spicy), two Boss Hoggs (one regular, one spicy), and a strawberry pistachio (without the pistachio for the little one). The strawberry icing actually contains real strawberries! Everyone was pleasantly surprised by how rich and satisfying each donut was—so delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for some donuts if you're in the area!

The doughnuts were fresh and delightful! As for the cinnamon roll, it was incredibly irresistible!
