Dough Boy Donuts - Burleson

Cute decor, but high prices for underwhelming food. Cinnamon roll was dry and frosting tastes like pure vanilla extract. Donut holes were dense and dry. I appreciate that they make their own dough in house, but the texture wasn't appealing. We wanted to try something new, but next time we'll stick with the usual small town donut shop.

A friend of mine recommended Dough Boy Donuts as it is close to their home, but quite a drive for me! After reviewing their instagram, I knew I had to try them out. And it did not disappoint! Customer service was great and the donuts are made to order hot and fresh! Even tried the donut sandwich and it was perfection. Cannot recommend them enough!

Hands down the BEST donuts in all of DFW! The customer service is always amazing and the quality of donuts is Also, don't sleep on their sausage rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and fresh squeezed orange juice! They also catered our wedding and our friends still talk about the donuts!

Donuts were very good! The only issue I had was the the breakfast sandwich was very and I mean very salty. It was as if they meant to sprinkle salt and the can accidentally spilled all over it. By the time I got home the food was still warm. The service was wonderful I went around 6am on a Wednesday and there was one one but me and my child.

The menu offers a good variety of choices, and the service is friendly. I tried the strawberry pistachio donut, which was quite dense. Personally, I prefer donuts that are light and airy, but if you favor a thicker, cake-like texture, this one might be appealing to you. I've also discovered that I'm not a fan of the combination of strawberry and pistachio. I ordered a kolache as well, but unfortunately, the bread didn't taste as fresh as it looked. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're willing to spend a bit more and want to try something different. Perhaps I just chose the wrong items.
