My grandfather would treat me to ice cream every day, not realizing he saved up his change throughout the week to make it happen. The staff called me “The Penny Kid” until summer ended. Now, as an adult, revisiting brings back a wave of nostalgia. The staff feels like family, even with some new faces. The burgers have a classic American slider style, and the French fries have that familiar salty taste. While they aren’t crispy, the soft brown fries pair perfectly with a dash of seasoning. Popsicles, canned sodas, and hot dogs are great additions to a day at Battery Park. The Yellow Bus has given us the joy of enjoying days, evenings, and sunsets for years.
A Burlington tradition! We visited Bon for a Mother’s Day cheeseburger in 2022, and it was wonderful! Don't forget to try the creams! P.S. There's a cash machine available now!
The food was fantastic! I tried the Michigan dog, which is a hamburger topped with Michigan sauce and served with fries. The portions were generous—two people could easily share one dish. The Michigan sauce was incredibly flavorful and had just the right amount of spice, which I really enjoyed. Just a heads-up, they only accept cash, so be prepared!
Great eating great prospects good service cash only they have a cash machine
I just graduated from UVM and went for the first time yesterday, on the last day before they closed for the season. The lady serving me gave me free fries and a drink. She was incredibly kind and it really made my day, plus the food was excellent. I'm excited to go back in April!!
