It was fantastic BBQ! The hush puppies almost stole the show. To be healthy I also got the okra and collard greens. It was all delicious.
We eat there every chance we get. Star is by far our favorite cook and super stoked to have Sheila as our waitress. Between the good food and great entertainment Tony's is definately the place to go
One of the first requirements of good BBQ is tender, moist meat and Original Q knocks it out of the park on this. Between all of us in my party, we were able to sample almost all of the different meats and every one was tender and moist. We were most impressed with the turkey . . . not because it was better, but that it was unexpectedly moist. The second key element of good BBQ is smoke and flavor. Here, The O-Q falls a little short. Salt level was excellent, but beyond that, flavors were subtle. There was smoke, but not strong. And beyond saltiness, not much else to taste. Service was very good in that we were easily able to order on-line and then drive up, call in and have the food delivered to our car. Pandemic or not, this is a great feature for convenience, as we watched tens of people waiting in line.
We stopped in for breakfast takeout. Food was very good. And the two ladies that helped us where so nice. It's rare now a days to get good customer service. Keep up the good work. We will be back!
