Long John Silver's - Burlington

I witnessed one of the staff members smoking outside before entering the restaurant to place an order. I was unsure if she washed her hands afterwards. The floors always seem slippery, like an ice rink, and I am not impressed.

I went to the restaurant at 1pm on a Saturday. The server who took our order seemed disinterested and unfriendly, showing no signs of wanting to be there. The drink station was dirty, with garbage scattered around, ice and soda spilled in puddles, and the floor covered in trash. Despite there being a few tables of guests, the restaurant was not busy enough to justify the untidiness. The manager should improve these conditions.

Same food but now overpriced. $22 for one meal that I remember paying less than $10 for back in the day. That's fast food for ya. It'll make ya broke fast.

There is usually a long wait at this location, but we sat in line for 27 minutes waiting for a bacon burger and fries. Not sure what the issue was, lady at the window was apologetic but not the kind of wait you expect at a “fast food” location.

The food arrived promptly and the staff was incredibly polite. The meal itself was tasty! However, my experience was marred by using malt vinegar on my hush puppies which turned out to be expired - the bottle was dated 8-13-20, almost 4 years old.
