GOLD STAR CHILI - Burlington

Gold Star holds a special place in my childhood memories. I have to have some every time I'm in the Cincinnati area. The bread is soft, chili is tasty, and the cheese is piled on. The server was very nice and even though it was lunchtime they weren't overly crowded. The ambiance is like any other fast food place but the floors and tables are kept clean.

Small portion on a Regular size. Why is it Cincy Chili stores are skimping on what has to be the cheapest ingredients for any restaurant?

Tasted onut very watery and a regular was so small. It was probably less than one inch in depth. Not overly filling so I was greatful for crackers. Won't be going back.

Our double decker BLT's we're exactly what we were craving! The bacon was perfectly crisp, the whole wheat toast toasted. Crisp pickle! Service was impeccable.

I actually enjoyed this restaurant. I tried similar competition but like it here. Staff were friendly and kind. Most importantly fast and delivered excellent service. I had chilli dogs and asked for it without the bun. NO PROBLEM. Also got the chilli salad mmm mmm good! Took leftover chilli dogs home because I just wanted a taste and was dining alone so couldn't share it. Yah ha! Lucky! I didn't have to share!! Ate leftovers for dinner. : . Good location and spacious dining for inside seating socially distant.will be back for my chilli salad to take a breake while running errands.
