Amaya Express - Burlington

We had dinner for 2, excellent fresh Indian food. Lots left over for 2 days worth of lunches. The service was also excellent. Pleasant quiet atmosphere.

Based on other reviews we decide to try this Indian restaurant and the other reviews are right - the food is excellent and the service is friendly and attentive. The meal for two is great value - lots to eat and, unless you have a huge appetite, enough to take some home for another day. It is also great that this option allows you to choose three dishes from the main menu and not some other preset meal. The lemon fish curry and chicken masala both melted in the mouth and the cauliflower and potato vegetable dish was an ideal accompaniment. Would definitely go back again to try other dishes.

We went here for a special outing with the whole family. The service was good and the food took a while but it was worth the wait! Everything was very fresh and we all enjoyed our meal. I will say though that you can get food this good for a LOT cheaper in Burlington and Waterdown.

We love coming here whenever we have a craving for Indian food.not only the service is great the food itself is phenomenal. Would recommend this restaurant.

I like Indian food a lot but I hate how a lot of Indian food seems to be spicy for the sake of being spicy. The food that I ate at Amaya express was the perfect amount of spicy, it was spicy enough to please people who enjoy spicy but mild enough to allow people who don't like really spicy food to enjoy their meal as well.Took a friend here and we both had the butter chicken, both of us liked it, by the time we were done there was enough left over that I took it home and my brother ate it for his dinner. Not bad for $40 including tip for two people.I would definitely recommend Rice with your meal if you get butter chicken, I thought the waiter was just trying to upsell rice to me but I soon realized that if you get butter chicken there is a ton of sauce with it which is why the rice is recommended because it will soak up all of that delicious sauce.Definitely recommend Amaya Express, if you plan on eating here for dinner try to come a little later, I don't know if it's common but I arrived for 4:15pm and was notified by the notice on the door that they wouldn't be opening until 4:30PM.
