It seemed that they were in a rush to serve you and for you to leave. Veal Parm for $28 and chicken Parm was $24. The food and service was just ok definitely over prized would not go back.
My wife and I went to Nonna's for our anniversary dinner. We got there before 5pm and the place was empty. It truly is a beautiful restaurant. I thought who ever designed this place did a fantastic job. It has that homey small little Italian village feel to it. If that makes any sense. We could sit anywhere we wanted and our waiter seemed genuinely happy to see us. We looked at the menu on line before arriving so we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted. We started off with brishetta and it was done differently but it was good. My wife ordered the Salmon and I had the Chicken Marsala. Both meals were delicious and filling. Prepared perfectly. We both had coffee and lemon tiramisu. It melted in your mouth. The restaurant eventually started to get busier and I could easily see my family coming back again. Service and food was simply perfect.
We enjoy going to Nonna's on a regular basis. The food is pretty good, great service and awesome music from Thurs-Sat. We especially enjoy when Scott plays Friday nights. Sasha and Rhoda are the best servers there and always make us feel welcome. Thanks guys for your great hospitality.
Stopped here for lunch. The atmosphere is great. The food was good. Psta and pizza were well done. White Bean and Spinach Soup of the day was very good. Service was a bit slow but that was okay because we weren't rushed.
This restaurant is located minutes away from the Royal Botanical Gardens so it is a perfect place to stop for a meal if you are in the area . Sparkling clean , attractive comfortable decor and impecibly dressed wait staff . Quick seating and attentive but unrushed service . Presented with both the regular and the lunch menu .We ended up choosing from the regular menu . Good selection of appetizers , salads , pizzas , meat dishes and pasta . Extensive wine list by the bottle , however individual glasses sold by the ounce and limited to one variety of either white or red . Their Eggplant Parmesan and Lasagne are listed as house specialties .We decided to split a House Salad and both ordered the Lasagne for our main .Since I had said we would split the salad the waiter was kind enough to serve it in two invidual portions . Salad consisted of crisp fresh lettuces, red onion , tomato and cucumber, dressed lightly with oil and vinegar . A perfect potion of fresh noodles with just the right amount of cheese , a robust bolonaise sauce with no hint of bitterness served piping hot in the centre of a large bowl and surrounded by a little puddle of the delicious sauce . Perfection and frankly outside of home the best lasagne I have anywhere .
