Bubble World Restaurant - Burnaby

I was staying in a nearby hotel for a school trip and my group was tasting some bubble tea.

I used to love bubble worldIt's alright nowMy friend came back from a long trip without Asian food and I thought why not bubble world.

This time I have a pork&cabbage, deep fried wonton and a milk tea with bubblesEvery thing was delicious besides the sauce of DF wonton.

This was our 6th choice for dinner on the BC day statutory holiday as other places were closed or had a 30 minute wait for a table of 5. We finally got some food shortly after 8pm. The food was ok but the drinks were good, especially the black sesame cold drink with pearls.

I cannot believe this place hasn't been closed down. Last night i ordered the Kung Pao chicken. The meat was not chicken. It was of a small mammal. A small omnivore and the taste was masked by the overly abundant msg and sauce. My husband and I both immediately felt ill and although the taste was not that bad, it was WRONG. I'd bet my last dollar the meat was rat. And expensive rat. As 2 bubble teas and 2 rice and kung pao chicken cost $35.
