Its prime location is just the beginning of its charm. The bakery section boasts a variety of irresistible Hong Kong-style cakes and pastries that are truly delightful. The menu offers tasty dishes such as savory fried noodles, decadent French toasts, and a must-try Hong Kong-style coffee. Be sure to try their BBQ buns, which are heavenly. It's a fantastic place to enjoy authentic Hong Kong cuisine and hospitality in the heart of Vancouver.
Awesome! This food is just amazing. All this time and I just found this amazing bakery/restaurant in my own neighborhood. If they hadn't asked me to wait outside in the cold for takeout (which I did not) they'd get five stars. Other than the slight blight on their service rating though, i refuse to give them any less than four stars. The food (french toast such as I have never tasted) was nothing short of incredible, with a unique flavour deserving of kudos straight from ones pallette. This patron will be returning for more in short order.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant and bakery are both wheelchair accessible although I can't speak for the washrooms since I did takeout.
The bakery has a limited selection, but if you dine in, there are numerous Cantonese food options available. Despite already having had lunch, we decided to stop by for some drinks. We tried the milk tea, milk tea with coffee, and red bean drink, all of which were tasty. However, the restaurant only accepts cash payments. Additionally, you can request a food item from the bakery to enjoy alongside your other ordered items in the cafe, with the total bill charged to your table. The service was efficient, making for an enjoyable overall experience.
Yesterday, I tried pineapple-infused hot milk tea at Xincheng for $7.50. Today, I visited Tai Pan and had the same drink for $6.30. Overall, Tai Pan is superior to Xincheng, but in the end, tea shops in Richmond just aren't as tasty!
Chow mein a club sandwich with steak, say less . Love it here and the ambiance is great
