White Spot - Burnaby

6. June this year I went to the White Spot in Kensington and Hastings in North Burnaby for breakfast. I haven't been there for many months, but the one I noticed was that a simple record of bacon and... lies over simply with shredded hash browns and toast, had risen in price. I remember this record 9 months ago was only 12 to 13 dollars or something. But when I got my bill, it was $15 and then after tax, $16. I know this Covid 19 has hit all hard, but a simple breakfast should not cost so much. After the tip, it was a $20 bill. John and I used to have breakfast for the two of us and there would be a total of 25 dollars, AFTER tax. Strange. Things change better or I'm not going back.

To eat one of our favorite spots, we forget to add the staff in writing. So here is a "toast" to the excellent staff that make our meals pleasant every time we visit. Tonight we ordered Thanksgiving turkey meals that were very good.... Meat so delicate, big vegetables, gravy and potatoes. A great treat. Thanks again White Spot!

Standard White Spot Restaurant with regular quality and a decent price. Good burgers and they try to extend their menu to other areas. I would recommend it.

Everyone in B.C. knows the spot. Good healthy food with some interesting dishes that are seasonal. Great service.

White Spot Kensington location has plenty of parking, comfortable seating, and friendly staff. It’s our family’s default restaurant. Go to favourites are Chicken Caesar wrap with endless fries; and for brunch the Nat’s Hearty Breakfast with half waffle, and endless smash browns. Good portions for...value, decent variety.
