The Nelson - Burnham Market

Thank you for the wonderful food and delightful company during our meals on Friday and Saturday night! The service was excellent, the staff were charming, and our dog had a great time as well—he appreciates the chicken and sausage!

The hotel is taking money from customers, as evidenced by reviews on TripAdvisor. I was charged £75 despite the fact that it has been closed since at least July. They still processed my payment even though they were not open and have not refunded me. Many others have also been affected. Booking.com is aware that this hotel is closed, as there have been complaints from other guests, yet they continue to advertise it as open. I have reported the situation to Norfolk Trading Standards and will be contacting the police tomorrow. Taking payments for a service that cannot be provided is potentially deceptive, possibly fraudulent, and could be considered theft in some cases. This is unacceptable. Be cautious and avoid booking the OYO Nelson.

This is a lovely and inviting pub with a cozy atmosphere and modern decor. They serve Woodforde Wherry on tap and are dog-friendly, making it a great spot to relax with your furry friend.

The bar staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend this place!
