I pass by this cafe all the time when coming out of the car park, so my friend and I decided to give it a try. We walked in through the takeaway area and into a small room with only seven tables of different sizes. Despite the limited space, we were able to be seated without having to wait. The menu was very good, with lots of specials listed on the blackboard. They offered homemade pies, lasagne, quiche, and other dishes. The chips were not homemade, but that's understandable. From the conversations between customers and staff, it seemed like they have a lot of regulars. It had an old-fashioned charm to it, and I ordered the homemade cheese and onion pie which was delicious. The staff, a group of very friendly and lovely ladies, served us. My only complaint is that it was a bit cold inside, but that was probably because the front door was constantly open. Despite this, we will definitely be back as the prices were great - I was amazed that we had change from £10 for two main meals and two teas. Excellent value for money.
