Towneley Park Rotunda Cafe - Burnley

Went to get a coffee at 2pm and it was closed couldn't believe it the car park was full and loads of people about so why shut the cafe down when there was loads of people about just unbelievable

Love this place always guaranteed a nice brew, staff very pleasant.

Arrived at 4.03pm but apparently the little cafe closes at 4pm (heard the lady complaining she had been there all day) but thought we would line up behind the 4 people who had placed their orders. We then get to the front (2 adults and 2 young children excited to order hot chocolates and a cake and looking what else we could get) to be told 'I 'm closing now '! Both my kids upset and wanted to warm up a bit on our stop off. Why couldn 't she tell us we couldn 't be served before lining up and discussing our order?! We aren 't from the area and just passing though. Such a shame as the park seems lovely. We had to cut our visit short as it was freezing. I can 't answer any of the other questions as we didn 't get served. Parking options seem good and cheap enough but the lady at the cafe wasn 't very friendly. We didn 't see much else of the park to rate.

Great cappuccino and always a good variety of cakes. Joyce and Jean are always very welcoming and it is a pleasure to have a chat and catch up. They are a valuable part of our park experience.

Not bad for price
