Feedback gevenNear the lake, but we had fish from Ireland. Beautiful and large terrace outside, it is located in a very bucolic village in the French speaking left of Switzerland.
We ate here yesterday evening with friends “la chasse”. The starter, ravioli de lièvre, was mouthwater; the Chevreuil was delicious, served with all the usual sides, and the Dessert Superb. The wine from the village white and red was beautiful. Friendly and efficient staff attended a very pleasant evening. It was the first time for us in this restaurant, but definitely not the last. Very recommended.
Beautiful location with a magnificent terrace overlooking the lake. Lunch menu is a good choice and price. The tables are always full and there is a nice atmosphere to chat with all. The servers were very friendly.
Booked here for a party of four because had been informed that there was a new tenant and new chef and because of the magnificent view this restaurant enjoys. We found the service terrible, only 3 staff to service a full restaurant, the filets de perches were ok but the sole meunière fried until they were entirely dry and when I saw one waiter serve and prepare the filets at another table, he was so clumsy that we asked to be served the entire soles on our plates and not just the filets. The fries that were confirmed to be house made were not but just deepfrozen stuff every one can by him or herself in the supermarket. However the local Chardonnay from Tartegnin was a pleasant discovery. We took no starter no dessert, just paid and left and will never return.
Location is excellent, the view over the lake is pleasant, the staff is very friendly, passionate and they surely know their menu and Carte des vins. Decor has a few problems with a few unnecessary modern, sticky cheap details (stick to authentic instead of IKEA lamps) but the food was simply exceptional. We went there for « chasse ». What we got was elegantly dressed plates, simply perfectly cooked very high-quality meat, amazingly spiced Gravy/Jus. All elements made pure sense. Interesting attempts at the starters like the "Papet Revisité". This restaurant plays well above its league when it comes to the overall experience
