I took off a star because it was kind of confusing at the entrance because there was no hostess, and a little wait getting seated, and served. All in all, I would recommend trying the place. Parking: Parking was fine as the strip mall usually isn't super busy.
Went for mothers day, service was great and food was delicious.
One waiter for a Saturday night is not sufficient. With an entree we were given a tiny cup of rice which, was not sufficient when asked for more I was charged $3 for a small box of rice. I am going to stick with Mandarin House in Laurel and Hunan Manor in Columbia.
I ordered two of the dinner sized servings. One I got general Tso’s chicken and the other black pepper steak. It came with a soup, rice, 2 dumplings, and 2 fried pieces of shrimp. After tipping and tax my total came to about $40. The chicken was honestly inedible and had no flavor aside from the sauce and the steak was okay but where we had trouble were the portions. They were so small for them to cost more and be considered DINNER PORTIONS. Also the sides that came with the meals were lackluster at best. The rice was bland, the dumplings were a disgusting texture and the fried shrimp was honestly inedible. The only thing the at was good was the miso soup I received with the combo. The wonton soup that I also ordered had no flavor or seasonings and was very bland. To top it all off as we received our food and were about to leave we saw a roach climbing on the wall. I will not be returning to this place.
Sushi was good, nice flavor and presentation. Fresh wasabi which is a nice touch. Their Thai dish (drunken noodles or Pad Kee Mao) was lacking flavor though and a lot of the noodles were stuck together and undercooked as a result.
