Chongqing Street Noodle - Burwood

The place is one of the new restaurants located on the ground floor of the new Emerald Square development near Burwood Plaza. I popped in for lunch on a Thursday and it was fairly busy but the restaurant is quite large with enough tables and chairs. I ordered the Pork Mince and Noodles at the counter and it took less than 5 minutes for them to bring them to my table. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a perfect chewy texture. This place isn't for the faint hearted with a decent amount of chilli in every dish. With all the new restaurant openings in Burwood I would recommend adding Chongqing Street Noodle to the list of places to visit.

I ordered the pork minced meat and pasta at the counter and lasted less than 5 minutes until she brought her to my table. The noodles were cooked perfectly with perfect chewing texture. This place is not for the weak nerves with a decent lot of chili in every dish. With all the new restaurant openings in Burwood I would recommend to add Chongqing Street noodle to the list of places to be visited.

The food was great! Signature noodles and beef noodles were amazing. Got medium spicy for both and it was perfect! Free self-serve tea and water. Service was great and food came out in under 10 mins. Highly recommend.

Chongqing is absolutely delicious if you're looking for a hearty filling meal and a bit of spice to go with. The Chongqing Noodles with Beef come in a pretty good portion size and a good amount of beef for my liking (but can understand that some people would think it's not enough). The dish has the perfect kick of savoury and spicy and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a guaranteed delicious meal!
