The shop is located up a slightly steep hill, but there is a spacious free car park at the top with plenty of available spaces. Mrs P's offers a wide variety of ice cream flavors and occasionally features guest flavors. During our latest visit, they had a delicious Halloween-themed flavor with treacle. Our grandson always has a hard time deciding on a flavor because there are so many options to choose from! There is also seating available if you prefer to enjoy your ice cream with a coffee.
I was shocked by the prices at this restaurant! We paid £8 for 2 cups of basic tea and 2 bottles of water. The price of £2 for a small 500ml bottle of water is outrageous. The server was friendly and explained that it was due to overhead costs in the area, but I still feel that £2 for the smallest bottle of water is excessive. To make matters worse, the cheap cups started leaking, so we only ended up having half a cup of tea each. Overall, I was not happy with the experience.
The ice cream was okay and the service was friendly, but the food was absolutely terrible considering the price. I paid £5.95 for two slices of cheap white bread, low-quality cheese, and a couple of tasteless salad leaves. The cafe was uncomfortably warm and lacked any personality. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this felt like a rip-off.
Stopped off for an ice cream and a coffee , sitting at the front of the shop . Friendly service , Ice cream was ok , nothing special but the coffee was truly awful , my husband had a black Americano and he drank a few mouthfuls and said it was the worst he’d ever tasted .
Dropped in twice during a two night stay in Ramsbottom. Firstly for coffee, hot and tasty. Secondly for ice cream… gorgeous! Plenty of flavors, the Lotus Biscoff especially yummy! Young lad behind the counter very cheerful and chatty, we’ll be back again!
