Feedback gevenIt appears that the new management's strategy for running a successful business is to increase prices while providing smaller portions. During lunch, I ordered chips and gravy to go. After spending £2.15, I received a minuscule serving of transparent chips (which I had to wait for as they were being freshly cooked) drenched in flavorless gravy. Absolutely disappointing!
Upon entering the restaurant, I quickly noticed the poor service. The chips were undercooked and the fish was subpar. Hopefully, they will improve for next time. Maybe I'll try a curry somewhere else.
I have been to this restaurant twice and have been really impressed both times. I placed my order and waited about 10 minutes for my food, which is all cooked fresh to order. I ordered fish bites, chips, and beans for my 2-year-old niece, and the portion size was so generous that it would have been perfect for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Ordered fish chips and peas. Had to repeat 3 times as lady on till kept coughing. She didn't cover it mouth when coughing, she turned away and coughed towards the food prep and deep dryers. I should have left at this point, stupidly I didn't. Food arrived approx 10 mins later. Chips very good and hot, peas very nice. Bread was ok too. Tea was very weak. when I cut into the fish, I could smell a very strong smell of ammonia. When I looked up why fish smells of ammonia it turns out that this smell occurs when fish is not fresh and is decomposing. Yum!! Will not be going back, will not recommend Radleys to anyone.
The customer service and atmosphere is very hostile! The staff are very tricky about what you order and weather you can sit inside or HAVE to take out. This comes across as that they do not want you to use the seating provided. Proving bad customer service. The food is okay but no where worth the high prices and the 10 minute wait for a portion of chips.
